Steenks Service reveals new slogan

Steenks Service introduces a new slogan during the annual Christmas party. “Last year we revised our current marketing strategy. We used to shoot with hail successfully, but we didn’t really have a clear message to our customers,’ says Sander Zuidgeest, co-owner of Steenks Service.

Steenks Service’s old slogan was: “Uw partner in service en techniek”. The slogan was correct, but it was not suitable for international use. For international expressions Steenks used: “Solutions and Service, it’s our business”. This slogan wasn’t suitable, because it does not clearly state what Steenks Service does for customers.

Founding of the company in 1983

Steenks Service was founded in 1983 by Freek Steenks. He started tinkering with various (horticultural) machines. As long as there was business, Freek did it. This worked well, but over time the range became too wide. In 2002 this changed. The range was considerably reduced and only the ‘essential’ machines remained. “This allowed us to specialize and we really know everything about our machines so that we can help the customer in the best possible way,” says Wouter Steenks, co-owner of Steenks Service. “In addition, we put service first, because we really want to help the customer. Speed, personal advice and tailor-made solutions are more than self-evident here.”

In other words, Steenks Service stands for: Essential equipment. Excellent services!

To bring the slogan on top of mind of our customers, it has been placed large on the wall of the workshop. In addition, the mechanics are provided with new work clothing with this slogan printed on it.

New strategy

The slogan is the translation of Steenks’ revised strategy. The focus is on the most important machines in horticulture. These are products in which Steenks specializes and which Steenks supports. Steenks tries to optimize these machines together with the supplier and improve them for the future. For example, there are already some ideas on the shelf that are currently being developed. Furthermore, service is an important aspect of the new strategy. In this way, Steenks Service continues to support its customers worldwide with the right equipment for practical optimization by providing them with advice, quality products and necessary services with a professional team.
