Pallet strapping machine
Strapping machines ensures that goods, which are stacked on a pallet, stay together. This practice reduces the risk of damage during transportation of goods. During the strapping process, the corners of the pallet can be equipped with corner board for extra stability. The pallet strapping machine will tie special straps around the goods, which is possible in a horizontal- or vertical manner. Pallet strapping has certain advantages over sealing a pallet. For instance, unpacking the goods will take far less time and the amount of packaging waste will be significantly reduced. Semi-automatic or automatic pallet strapping
There are different sorts of pallet strapping machines available on the market. The most important difference is semi-automatic- or automatic strapping. This is a big chunk of the costs of the pallet strapping machine. When you only have a couple of pallets a day, semi-automatic binding is your best bet. In that case, you bring the binding machine to the pallet and apply the straps at the appropriate positions. The semi-automatic pallet strapping machine will subsequently tighten the straps around the goods. On the other hand, when you use a fully automatic pallet strapper, you bring the goods to the machine and the machine will automatically fasten the straps at the appropriate positions. Fully automatic machines can handle very large volumes and are suitable for highly automated production lines.
