Finnish tomato grower purchases used Bio Chopper from Steenks Service

Back in May, Steenks Service sold a Bio Chopper to a tomato grower from Finland. Steenks Service even transported the Bio Chopper to RW Constructies in Finland itself. There they then handled delivery of the device and successfully handed it over to the tomato grower. You can read more about the Bio Chopper and its delivery in this newsletter.

Transport from the Netherlands to Finland

The Bio Chopper had quite a distance to travel to its customer. Steenks Service had already covered some 2000 kilometres to get the product to RW Constructies. Once it had arrived, RW Constructies, a partner of Steenks Service, handled onward transport to the customer. The partnership between Steenks Service and RW Constructies had previously been announced at a Finnish Trade Fair. The Bio Chopper was ready for use immediately after delivery.

Bio Chopper from Steenks Service

The Bio Chopper is a crop chopper from Steenks Service that is used for crop changes. The Bio Chopper chops old crops with ease, allowing for more efficient disposal. The crop chopper is fed with old crop via transport mats. After chopping, the crop is then blown out through the discharge pipe. The Bio Chopper is flexible in operation, as the blow-out distance and direction can be easily adjusted. The waste is collected by a tipping bucket, so that the chopped crop can be easily dumped into a large waste container. A Bio Chopper chops an average of around 2500 to 5000 square metres of crop per hour.
